See "How to Get Rich While Black - Without Being An Athlete, Entertainer, or Drug Dealer!"

NEW BOOK TEACHES YOU HOW TO GET RICH WHILE BLACK -- WITHOUT BEING AN ATHLETE, ENTERTAINER OR DRUG DEALER

Nationwide -- How to Get Rich While Black... Without Being an Athlete, Entertainer or Drug Dealer by Chuck Starks is a must-read for anyone who aspires to live an abundant life with more than enough money to spend, live well, give and leave a robust inheritance to heirs.

Black Americans have literally built this country yet have not been able, because of discrimination, to reap the benefits of their labor without taking major risks that jeopardize not only their health but their life, family and legacy.

Very few Black Americans have the ability to play professional sports, act, model or entertain at a star level and get rich.

$6 Million to be Infused in Black Women-Owned Businesses

FOUNDER OF BLACKWOMAN.BIZ COMMUNITY TO INFUSE $6 MILLION INTO BLACK WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESSES

Nationwide --  BlackWoman.Biz is tackling the low sales revenues of Black women-owned businesses with an online community to learn, mentor, buy, and sell. The new program for Black women entrepreneurs will launch with 10,000 member businesses that make a commitment to give and get support. The goal this year is to create thousands of transactions and at least $6 million directly for Black women-owned businesses.

More than 2.4 million Black women-owned businesses make up 20% of all women-owned businesses. These numbers seem reason to celebrate, but the average sales revenue for a Black women business is the lowest at less than $25k per year according to American Express and the U.S. Census Bureau.

"With billions in buying power, Black women can help ourselves and change the game by buying from each other's businesses. It can be as simple as buying at least one item per month from a Black woman business," says Founder Natasha Taplin. BlackWoman.Biz members are encouraged to spend at least $50 per month at another member's business.

Entrepreneur Summit to Feature Business Pitch Contest for Women Founders, December - 16th

Millionaire Mastermind Academy Entrepreneur Summit to Feature Business Pitch Contest for Women Founders

Summit to bring together more than 500 business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with focus on business growth and access to capital.

Atlanta – With a goal to “learn, build and scale,” the Millionaire Mastermind Academy Awards Luncheon and Entrepreneur Summit on Dec. 16 will convene more than 500 business leaders, entrepreneurs and start-ups with a focus on business growth. Featuring more than 500 small business owners and affluent leaders, the Millionaire Mastermind Summit includes workshops on expanding, access to capital, community engagement efforts, contracting opportunities with the U.S. government and support from the U.S. Small Business Administration for startups, as well as a start-up lab for students and emerging entrepreneurs from Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Recognizing that only 2.2 percent of venture capital funding went to women in 2018, according to the PitchBook, and that less than 0.1 percent of funding has been allocated to black women over the past decade, the summit features an Entrepreneur Pitch Contest, similar to the well-known “Shark Tank” TV show.

Applications will be open October 21, 2019, for women-owned start-ups interested in delivering a 15-minute presentation to investors during the conference; the top five finalists will be invited to pitch their business live for a chance to win seed funding of $10,000 or more.

Entrepreneur Becomes One Of Few Nationally Certified Business Loan Brokers

PROFESSOR DEVIN ROBINSON BECOMES ONE OF FEW NATIONALLY CERTIFIED BUSINESS LOAN BROKERS TO EMPOWER URBAN DISADVANTAGED BUSINESSES

Nationwide -- Devin Robinson, affectionately known as Professor Devin, due to his longtime experience as a current professor of two institutes he started and as a former Oglethorpe University economics professor, launched Urban Business Lending Group earlier this year to immediate success. Since opening its doors in January 2019, Urban Business Lending Group has disbursed almost $2M in seed funding for new entrepreneurs, primarily from black communities.

When asked what his motivation for getting into the finance business he said, "I've been training and incubating brick and mortar businesses since 2009, but many of those entrepreneurs I helped all had a universal challenge. They had difficulty acquiring start-up or working capital funding. I felt this move would help close that gap as I aim to become the one-stop resource for entrepreneurs."

Stephen Jackson The New CEO of WIBO Weighs In On Getting Minority Contracts

Stephen Jackson The New CEO Of WIBO Explains The Reality Of Preparing And Winning Minority Contracts In NYC
Stephen Jackson (Center) At A Recent WIBO Event
By Stephen Jackson, CEO Of Workshop In Business Opportunities (WIBO) Based In NYC

Recently the NYC Comptroller was saying NYC was doing terribly in minority contracts from the city.  Why is this the case with all the community prepping taking place?

There are other sides to this story. It takes more than getting prepped or certified to play the game of government/corporate contracts. One a small business is not getting a multi-million dollar contract with less than a $100 K in sales.

Government/corporations make primarily large purchases for the services/products they utilize and only a handful of minority businesses are primed for those types of contracts. Two, unfortunately, some minority businesses do not want to invest in the needed insurance, bonding necessary to bid on these contracts.
